We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to lead the company’s financial operations and help shape the next phase of our growth.

This role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, governance, compliance, and operational financial performance across the organization. The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in strengthening financial systems, supporting executive decision-making, driving accountability, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the business.

The Financial Controller will work closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insight, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth across local and regional operations.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director and may require travel in support of overseas initiatives and business operations.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Leadership & Strategy
    • Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
    • Provide strategic financial insight to support executive decision-making and long-term business growth
    • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support capital projects, operational planning, and investment decisions
    • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to senior leadership and the Directors
  • Financial Operations & Controls
    • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, treasury, and general ledger management
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities to support operational stability
    • Implement, strengthen, and maintain robust internal controls, financial systems, and governance processes
    • Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with local taxation laws, statutory requirements, and financial regulations
    • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial and organizational information
    • Stay informed on regulatory, financial, and industry developments impacting the business
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, engineering, HR, and HSEQ teams
    • Support procurement and inventory oversight from a financial governance perspective
    • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Safety, Compliance & Culture
    • Adhere to all company HSEQ policies, procedures, and safety protocols
    • Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and compliance initiatives
    • Support a culture that prioritizes operational excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Education & Professional Certification
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation required
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
    • Experience within oil & gas, industrial services, manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry environments is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated experience managing finance teams and leading organizational financial operations
  • Technical Competencies
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and local taxation legislation
    • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software platforms
    • Advanced financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling capabilities
    • Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and corporate governance frameworks

HSE ADVISOR

We are seeking proactive and dedicated HSE Professionals to join our dynamic team that will be based at on client’s site. This position will be crucial for the maintenance of a robust health, safety, and environmental standards on-site. As a key contributor to on-site operations, the HSE Advisor will work collaboratively with teams to identify hazards, mitigate risks, and promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance while fostering operational excellence.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs and procedures to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and propose corrective actions.
  • Reporting of all incidents, lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Provide HSE training and awareness to staff, ensuring a deep understanding of safety protocols applications.
  • Maintain records and reports related to safety, health, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with project and team leads to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Provide guidance with up to date with HSE laws and regulations, ensuring all processes align with industry best practices.
  • Identify and minimize on-site risks, ensuring all hazards are properly addressed and controlled.
  • Develop and communicate safety alerts based on incidents to prevent recurrences.
  • Support the site Emergency Response Plan by ensuring team training, readiness, and regular emergency drills.
  • Orient subcontractors and suppliers on their HSEQ roles and responsibilities.
  • Review and verify contractor documentation, ensuring compliance with project and statutory requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. NEBOSH, IOSH, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a process or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of successful HSE program implementation and incident management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proven experience managing HSEQ for high-risk onsite operations, with knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Practical knowledge of site-specific safety challenges, including confined spaces, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, training, and on-site interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and software tools for site auditing and documentation.
  • Mental and physical fitness with ability to meet the demands of site work will be favourable.
