The American Petroleum Institute (API) initiated an Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector Certification Program with the issuance of Supplement 1 to API 653, Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and
Reconstruction. This program promotes safe storage and material handling of petroleum products in a manner that protects employees, the public, and the environment.

API Q2 Technical Application for Lead Auditor

This 2.5-day course utilizes the latest training methodologies and uses a combination of lecture, examination, and group auditing to ensure each participant is able to analyze properly, audit, document, and report findings, concerns, and observations. This course covers all of the technical requirements outline in the specification. This course is the first in the industry that includes conducting a full API Q2 audit against a fully documented QMS and records management system, to include all well site planning and execution records.

Throughout the audit, participants undergo observations and receive competency assessments by Accredited Providers and Subject Matter Experts. Participants that complete this course

The program promotes self- regulation and establishes a uniform national program that will assist state and local governments in pressure vessel regulations.

IRATA International’s rope access system is a safe method of working at height where ropes and associated equipment are used to gain access to and from the work position, and to be supported there. IRATA International ensures a safe system of work and encourages career progression for rope access technicians whether it is Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3. Each technician is required to re-certify every three years in order to demonstrate they maintain the necessary abilities in order to work safely.
